I had so much fun with my candy lips! It looks so adorable and colorful! I know you’ll want to try it for yourself. So here’s how:

Apply a moisturizing lip balm all over your lips. 

Apply lip gloss on your lips. Make sure to apply it on the lips ONLY. You can also reshape your lips using this. Make it bigger or smaller.

Pucker up and dip your lips into bead shaped sprinkles! 

Clean the edges of your lips with a cotton bud. 

And you’re done!

Have fun with your Candy Lips! 

Hello there!

Most of the teens I know, including myself, suffer from the same problem. So don’t worry because it’s perfectly normal. :) I suggest you refer to this post of mine for your daily skin care routine. As for the best make up base, refer to these tips:

A regular moisturizer is not an option if your skin is oily. So how can you protect your skin you ask? Use a matte finish sunblock. This will give you a matte base that will prevent your make up from sliding off. Matte sunblocks can be purchased from your local department stores.

Make Up primer IS KEY. Before putting on your foundation, concealer or BB cream, apply a good make up primer first. Apply as much as you need. Using this will keep your make up last the whole day.

If you have oily skin, your eyelids are probably about 50% oilier than the rest of the areas of your face. That explains why your eyeshadow won’t last for a long period of time. Using an Eyelid primer before applying any eyeshadow or eyeliner will help it last longer and make the colors more vivid.

Cream Concealers are your best bet for a long lasting cover up. Cream concealers have a dryer formula than liquid ones so it’s best for oily skin. 

Translucent powder is also an important note. Apply this over your base to seal in all the products you’ve applied. Since it’s translucent, it’s also the most natural way to matte your face.

If your face feels oily during the day, don’t just slap on powder because this will make your face super cakey. Be sure to use oil blotting sheets first and then freely apply your powder again.

I don’t know if you can call this “beach hair”, but this is my version of messy hair 

If you’re in a hurry, you can always use a hair crimper for that messy effect. But if you have time to spare, you can try these less damaging methods:

While your hair is still damp, tie it into a french braid or pigtail braids and let it dry naturally. (No time? Use a blow dryer!) Once you untie your hair, you’ll see small beach waves. 

While you’re in your car, on the way to school, tie your hair into a bun and viola! Beachy waves!

If you have a super layered haircut, then things will be much easier for you! If you don’t…  Simply purchase a serum that promotes curls and apply some on your hair. Scrunch scrunch scrunch and crumple crumple crumple! You’re done

Okay I know this might seem easy for other people out there, but still.. Here’s a tutorial  Thank you to my sister, Tina, for letting me ‘borrow” her loooong nails! 

Pretty vague but yeap! You can use other colors if you want. I’d normally use baby colors like pink or blue but my sister’s more of neutral loving girl. 

It will look at its best if the Polka dots have well proportioned spaces between each other. You’ll be able to achieve that, by following this pattern:
